The battery replacement plan will differ in some interesting ways from the iPhone replacement plan. Instead of simply replacing the battery in the unit, Apple will take your iPad and give you an entirely new iPad when your battery runs out. Not only that, it will cost just 100 dollars! Right now, replacing an iPhone battery costs about 80 dollars and takes a few business days, while the iPad, when taken into a certified Apple dealer, could have you up and running with a new iPad unit in just seconds!<br />Some people are complaining that Apple should just make the battery more easily removable so that anyone can just replace it, but in the trend of making things smaller, more solid and compact, it's become apparent that Apple will continue to make it's portable devices with batteries that are not easily removed!<div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/7959932070074515896-1636931305900111577?l=ipadcommunity.blogspot.com' alt='' /></div>Seannoreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7959932070074515896.post-68149252122056883192010-03-08T01:15:00.000-08:002010-03-08T01:15:02.981-08:00Apple has formally announced that the iPad will be released April 3rd! I forsee a fun summer ahead! Also in the news, Apple airs it's first Apple iPad commercial durring the Acadamy Awards. Hip rock music backs a guy sitting on a sofa checking pictures, sending mail, watching movies, etc. Pretty straight forward, classic style Apple marketing. The iPad still looks good though!
